New Fmic for Msp!!!

Hmmm..cheaper than getting it from iON...but I'd probably give iON my money when I do decide to get a FMIC.

It says that the product was added to their catalog in Jan. of '04...if that means anything.

FYI guys, we've been working with Kinetic before they were Kinetic for many years. We use their silicone hoses. They're an authorized vendor for our Subaru parts as well :) The "listed" price actually on their website is incorrect.

Pretty much the EXACT same kit though. And why is that price incorrect? and how do you know Ion that this kit price is incorrect?

MSP FOR LIFE - They've just recently put up their online purchasing stuff. There's alot of dead links. The stuff on their online buying page is put up for pre-liminary use. That was the original targeted MSRP, however production costs came in way overbudget.

either way I sent Jack money for my FMIC today (2thumbs)

want to install it for me MSPDAVE (bow)
So now would be the time to jump on this deal, huh!? If the price really is inaccurate on the website, and they are going to raise it soon, we should buy now! They have to sell it to you for the price on the site, or else it is false advertising. If you saw something in the store, and it had a price tag on it that was wrong, they have to give it to you for what the price tag says. At any rate, this is a really good deal for an entire FMIC kit, including those blue silicon hoses and whatnot. I really would love to jump on this deal also, I am just a bit short on cash now...

thats right Jack..you use their boots...Ion baby
By the way, Discreet...is that the Ion kit on your car? If so, it is huge! I didn't realize it was that wide. It looks really sweet, though. What kind of performance gains did you notice? How hard was the install? Sorry if everyone asks you this question. You should post a link to these questions in your sig...hah!
Thanks man!

nictlg7 - You may want to check the link again... looks like the web admin caught the error. ;) Yup he's running our FMIC kit :) If you look on the link in the AV section you'll be able to see the actual Turbo Magazine article writeup.

I don't know dude, I refreshed my browser and everything, and it still says it is $895 and now shipping. That would be a great deal if it came with everything needed to install. I really want a bigger intercooler. I can't afford one right now, but when I do, it will have to be a good deal like this. If this isn't still the correct price, I may just have a shop do a custom FMIC for me. I know there are a few shops in Orange County and San Diego that have done them for members. At any rate, let us know if their is another group buy or price drop. I think we are all broke, hence the reason we bought the less expensive turbo. Thanks!

nictlg7 - try deleting your cache memory first ;)

If there is serious interest for a GB later on, we'd be happy to host another.
Actually, I noticed the first link that was posted here still has the $895 price, check it out. (scratch) However, if you go to the main site, and then click on catalog, there is an entirely different page, it even looks different. It is setup different, with the Mac OS X looking buttons to order and whatnot. That just ruined my night. I can't afford that much more for an FMIC... (pissed) (bang)

Most, if not all, established storefronts also have a disclaimer on one of the pages that says they are not responsible for typography errors. This would be one such example and it is not false advertising.

iON, are you guys ever going to get your web site working?

Hmm this to me sounds alot like price fixing.. i would guess that ion buys his kits from kinetics and marks them up quite a bit, when he read this price he called them and let them know what he has been selling them for and bam price goes up. Everyone thank Ion for raising the prices for us.. funny how all the other fmic kits were priced corectly on thier site.
So ion have a picture of your storefront or any proof that you aren't just a reseller of other companies products?
