New EXTENDED 3.5 msp front lip

As far as the "form" is concerned, I couldn't be happier, the aptly named "leno chin" turned out exactly as I had envisioned it. Looking straight on, I feel that it follows very closely to the form of the lower mid grill. The fitment, well, that's a different story. Thank you to all, I'm actually glad that some did see it's potential, and that others were honest that they didn't like the style of it at all. Atleast everyone doesn't blow smoke up each others A@#$@ here. Anyways, keep the comments coming (I'd like to think that I can take the criticism, other than that ricer comment, ouch man, easy :)). As for me, heading up to Atlanta in a few hours I'll catch yawl Sun. or Mon.

im it looks like a work in progress. i would redo the lines and make it one huge smooth lip so u cant tell where u added the new lip on. looks kind of wierd, but i can see how it can look so much better at the same time.

props to u man!

peace

i dont think it looks bad, but i do think there is *something* that would make it look better. i can't quite put my finger on it. im sure it'll turn out fine in the end though, not bad so far. nice work.

I think its cool you can take the criticism.

I will say that I don't like it too much but I think you will make it better.

Props for the effort and making something original.

just the fact that you did it by yourself at home makes it awesome.
keep working on it and it may come out really nice :)

although as long as you're happy with it, it wont matter what we think.

oh, and pic 6 is SICK!!!
whoever took that shot has a really good eye.

from my own experience this is VERY difficult. chopstickhero will vouch that i've been trying to find the dodge spirit turbo lip EVERYWHERE countless trips to the junk yard and even the dealership, to no avail.

sorry for the double post, but i think i know what you're talking about, i think it would look super sick WITHOUT the 03.5 MSP lip. but still with the custom one on the MP-3/03 msp/ p5 style bumper (the one under the 03.5 lip)

it is obvious you put alot of work, time and tears into this project, props to you

only two or three tears... lol.

It actually came down to what I wanted. I wanted the DG lip. I wanted to keep the foglights I had in the 3.5 lip. DG, nor anyone else made something to suit both wants, so I did it myself. As for the time, well, it would've been alot quicker if I had an electric sander. The cuts from my fingers are finally starting to fade! Not to mention the cost of making it myself was substantially cheaper (not including my priceless time, lol).

I made it as a "bolt on" so I could take it off whenever I wanted to, but it is evident that I'm going to have to mold them together to get rid of that disgusting gap (pics are in a previous post, don't know which one). I will most definately keep yawl (love that word) posted.

i'm sure it'll look even better once it's molded, for those that say it's fugly, u should c it in person, it does look weird on the pics, but in person it looks freakin awsome

hey jamie you messing around with another sunlight silver behind my back? i see how it is... well mine's gone now but dam i still think that lip would look sweet without the actual 03.5 lip on it.
