New Exhaust for Mazdaspeed Proteges

I've got all four kartboys on and I have never had any clunks, i had them before the group buy on the oem exhaust,mine has plenty of clearance below the rear lip and still looks clean tucked up under it, i know two people on here had problems with it tucked to close to the lip, i guess it is just car to car specific. only thing i had was an exhaust leak, just needed to retighten a bolt on the axleback section on friday, problem solved, I cant get a good wrenching on this one bolt over the axle, need shorter bolts, those ones with the exhaust are a pain.

I got a big problem on my speed now everytime i take off it makes this crunching sound comming from under car. Closer to the motor in other words. I think it might be the lsd. I'll take it to the dealer ship, but damn i dont want to remove the aftermarket parts.

From what I have read from other people that had LSD problems they didn't have any noises, car would rev in gear like if the clutch was totally stuck in and gear wouldn't engage, but they would be in gear and clutch out, no go.

have you considered your CV joints? does it make noise when are moving slowly and turning?

my car have the exact same problem as yours. I dont' know what the problem is, might be the exhaust hitting the cross member. That noise really is annoying

Have ya'll tightened your bolts since you put on this exhaust, you could have an exhaust leak, I had one. sounds like a thin metal ratlle/grind when you rev the engine or the car is vibrating a lot? just go under and tighten the bolts, i had one on the axle back section, but it certainly sounded like it was right under me in the driver seat. had to get down and have the wife rev it for me so i could find it, but everyone should tighten up their bolts anyways about a week to two after install, they always loosen up a little.
But I really thought it was something else b/c it didnt sound like it was coming from the rear, it sounded like it was right at the base of the engine, but it wasn't

it only does it when the car has been sitting in a spot for a while, when its cold in other words. it can't be the cv's i dont abuse the car enough to get a bad cv joint. unless its the springs my shocks are totally gone. It rides like ass, my whole cabin vibrates when i hit a hole or uneven bumps. I would take it to the dealership but they'd probably give me the old its normal on the msp to ride rough s***.

O.k. just installed my vibrant exhaust (finally) the only problem I have is I cant get the kartboy exhaust hangers to stay still around the muffler so my muffler is tilted the the right a little. Any suggestions?

Also it seems a little loud right now and I know I can put in the silencer but for you guys that have had it installed for a while does the toan go down at all or does it stay the same.

P.S. Man this things pulls like a mutha***** now.

Sounds like stock with the silencer in place.

Mine was really loud at first so I used the silencer. After about a week and getting on it a little it did seem to get quieter.

Well i sold all my mods in less than a week. i took of my exhuast but i was lazy to put on my stocker so im running the spipe only lol...That muther is loud though.

I had that exact problem. It really is a horrible sound. After 3 trips to the dealer they replaced the front bushings with ones that were recommended somewhere on the forum. Just search 'crunch'
