New Exhaust for Mazdaspeed Proteges

ok guys, today was a really nice day and I got off work at noon, the temperature was great and I was driving back from the city, so I was on Interstate mostly. This exhaust is great in good weather, it even pulls harder. I had a great time in the 30 minute drive home, which only took me 15 minutes today, I was hauling ass. Cold weather is winding down and I can't wait to drive it more. This exhaust rocks.

Hell's Yeah It does!!!! This exhaust is probably one of the smartest investments I made for my car!! Hell its night and day how much better this exhaust is looking at the pics I posted above.

Yeah I love it, too. It seems that it got quieter after driving it for a while. Which is not a bad thing for me.

okay, I finally went to a shop and they extended the o2 sensor. So far so good no CEL yet. I told them to check the exhaust rattle, because everytime when I launch from a dead stop, I can hear a clunk noise coming out near the downpipe area. I know is not the exhaust hitting the cross member because there is enough clearance. Who else have this problem? Is the exhaust hitting the heat shield?

nope, stock hangers. Will Kartboy hangers helped? That clunk noise is really annoying, but it will go away once the car warms up. I don't know where it came from

I bet it actually is the exhaust hitting the crossmember. With stock engine mounts our engines move around a ton, so when you're moving from a stop it's probably moving and hitting it.

Anybody have a problem with the muffler hitting the bumper? Mine does it on harsh shifts. I don't know how to lower it.

I am gonna get some kartboys then. Should I install all 4? I heard the exhaust tip might be very close to the rear skirt though

^Yeah I have that problem too sometimes. I'm not gonna worry about it though as it doesn't happen that often.
