apparently that smell is normal, i read another thread and they experienced same thing. its just different oils and stuff burning off. at least thats my thoughts

I am putting mine on in about two hours so hopefully somebody can shed some light for me, going by rob's comment on the 3rd pic in post 522 is this what I am grinding down, i am guessing so that i can put all three bolts on. I need to grind the collor off of the nut right? or find a smaller nut with the small thread size right?

get a saw like i did, and cut the lips. Once you are done it should look like a nut without the lip once i did that, it works like a charm. I also fixed the heatsheild hitting my short shifter, i used some washers and bent the sheild a little bit.

Well my exhaust is on took all freaking day but only because one of the nuts that i had to take off of the s-pipe cross threded and then the nut rounded off so at about 1 am on sun morn me and my father finally had it all done. and this what I have to say about my new exhaust ITS FU*KING AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also put on a Injen CAI that same day which I think also helped alot with horse power gain from that exhaust. I will suggest this to any one thinking of getting this exhaust or for you other guys that have not yet installed your exhaust BUY SOME KARTBOY HANGERS the stock hangers are just to flimsy and cause the exhaust to sort of sway at the rear and that leads to noise's.
