New CX-9 / saying hello

After much research (a lot completed on this forum-thanks) just purchased a 2010 cx-9 GT w/ Bose / Sunroof / Liftgate options in Liquid Silver Met yesterday. Just got it home last eve. and already love it. This is my first Mazda as I've driven Grand Cherokees since 1995. You seriously cannot beat the combo. of handling / value / fun to drive factor. They were offering discounts (got it for 33500) + 0% for 60 mos (mine stickered for 37450).

I will do some more searching on the forum before I do so, but looking at getting a 2" hitch (mine has no hitch). We pull two Sea-Doos so it'll be interesting to see how the cx-9 handles them. Had a Hemi Grand Cherokee to do this before, but also had the Hemi mpg (13.5 mpg w/ Sub-burb driving w/out towing anything). For the % of time we actually pull, I'd rather go w/ the year-round improved mpg of the cx-9 over the Jeep, not to mention the elegance / build quality.

Thanks all for the "silent" help while I was considering my purchase. Oh, by the way, drove the Pilot too - not nearly as sporty and the interior materials were not up to my standards compared w/ the Mazda.

Thanks again!

Welcome, and for hitch, check out the etrailer.com.
I believe there are 3 to 4 different 2" hitches to choose from.
I have the Hidden Hitch. See my sig picture.

Thanks for tthe advise - will check them out as I've noticed several individuals here seem to use them.

Thanks Vikefan7 and all for the welcome.

After looking at different posts, I see there's an issue w/ 2010 seat heaters. I checked mine - sure enough they are disconnected. Naturally, the dealer didn't mention this (not such a great overall experience there). I guess I'll mention it TO them on Monday. This is too bad, but hoping they'll find a fix.
Take care-
