CX-5 sport
Hello all! I will be picking up a 2014 CX-5 next week. It was just classified from New to CPO. It has been sitting on the dealers lot for 15 months and has 25 miles on it, not too many test drives it seems. Are there things I should have the dealership address before I sign the paperwork and turn over the check? I was curious about bad gas and flat spots, things like that, or am I being paranoid? Thanks for your advice. Bob

15 months with only 25 miles?! Jeez, they must've put it way in the back or something... I have no advice, but that is kind of weird.

The CX-5 I picked up had 220 miles when I signed the papers for it and it was on the lot for 2 months. Quite a few test-drives, but it had the exact things I wanted + color, so I took it.

I think mine had around 208miles on it. It was a 2015 back in late May, so, it probably wasn't there too long.

MY 2016 had 8 miles on it. I took it for a 24 mile test drive. It officially had 34 miles on it when I signed the papers.

Yeah.. mine had 8 as well. I purposely looked for one that likely didn't have a test drive. I really hammered on the poor demo model I originally drove.

As per OP... that vehicle must have been gotten lost in inventory. I would be trying to get a seriously good deal on it if I was buying.

I forgot to mention that it is a manual transmission. Doesn't seem to be too popular these days, at least in my neck of the woods.
