Don't worry about getting beat by those 21 year old cars. I get owned by a 1977 VW Rabbit pretty regular. It's nice to see another Street Prepared competitor. SP is a fun place to play.

a rabbit nice hahaha the fuel injection model i suppose haha

Yep...and with the driver in the car it still weighs almost 1,000 lbs less than my Pro5 which is why he is so hard to beat. He trophies at Nationals every year and he deserves it. His car is a work of lightweight, handling art.

Michele- Sweet. The boys don't like getting beat by girls too much. If you are going to get serious about A/X I'd recommend an Evolution School as soon as you can take one. It seems like you have some natural Mojo going on there. They'll help you find the rest of it and you'll be giving the beat-down on them by 2+ seconds by the end of the year. Keep kicking butt.

thanks for the advice. i'll look into it for sure. :] i think if i could get some good toyo proxys on there or even azeni RT's i could drop at least 2 more seconds. these rims and tires are just killing me here. but i want to get my times to be consistant before i get into buying new tires. it'll help me learn and make me a abetter driver.

The rims are most likely killing your acceleration and braking. I'd get some 16's with the widest rubber you can fit. I think the max without fender mods is a 225. With fender rolling and playing with offset you could fit 245's from what I've read here. R-comps would be the isht though. You are doing the right thing in learning your car though. Once you have it's feel down you can step up to better rubber and make them cry. :D Do the school though. It will amaze you how much better of a driver you will become. I know many of the Evo school instructors and believe you me, they'll help you more than any car-mod you can do.

Someone has even smaller rims and no problems with the brakes... I think 15's, but it all depends on the specs of the wheel. 16s would be good enough... get those 18's outta there!!!

PS - You rock. Talk to my wife please

Yep...I'm having bad withdrawl. You keep driving that way Michelle and I'll put you on my short list of people that I may ask to co-drive my car at Nationals this year...that is if you aren't driving your own car.
