You would need a rebuilt motor instead, and yes there is a refund-age.

Why is it so much more? New block? Is there a core deposit/refund? If so, how much? This is more expensive than MAM's block?

yeah i'm interested in the smic and hardpipe combo. I really would prefer that over a fmic since i dont want to mod my car to much other than that and an intake.

There are 2 motor options. A rebuilt block or a new forged block. The rebuilt block uses a used block and takes 6-8 weeks to rebuild. The new block is entirely brand new and is ready in a few days. I do not know mams block setup.

Updates...
Forged motor completed today, runs very nice.
Testing 2.25" pipes early next week.
Unichip install and tuning tomorrow.
SU is a authorized Unichip custom tuner and Unichips are in stock.
