Hello Mazda guys. Long time car guy, first time Mazda owner.
Found a one owner 1986, 626, two door, GT, 5 Speed turbo, electronic suspension the other day.
155,000 miles on the clock.
Couldn't pass it up. It was a "garage/barn" find that I just couldn't say no to.
She's got a locked up engine in her, but every thing inside I would say is 85%+.... a few tears here or there.
For the most part though, its 100% stock. Adult owned all of her life. Nothing ever modded or *****.
The body is straight, and there is 2 spots of rust. The car needs paint though, as the white is heavily oxidized.
Now, I really haven't been able to find what I'm looking for, but maybe some of the members could point the Mazda newb in the right direction here on the boards.
Im looking for reading & education material on swapping in the later 88 & 89 2.2 turbo 5 speed engine and trans, maybe even some one's write up?
