New 6 Hatch owner

Well, my BF finally, after waiting over a year for the hatches to come out, bit the bullet and bought his Blazing Copper 6 hatch last night. It's an awesome car, and the color is just beautiful. Here's a couple pics.

nice. I think if i bought a 6, it would be a hatch. I don't know how the interior noise compares to a sedan though. I would think the hatch and wagon would have more noise.

there's one thing i don't understand what mazda made the hatchback.
The hatchback and sedan look soo much a like.
But that's one good looking M6 hatchback

A hatch will exhibit more body flex than a straight-up sedan because of the larger opening.

As much as I like the look of the 6 hatch, I really don't know why Mazda went through the bother of making a sedan, a hatch and a wagon. If anything, they should've made a sedan, wagon and coupe/convertable.

Yes, I am hoping that Mazda brings out a replacement for the MX-6 based on the Mazda6. I still have my 93 MX-6 but perhaps I could replace it with a Mazda6 coupe/2 door sedan.

They probably made the 6 hatch like the sedan because of its larger size. To me it would look kinda of weird if Mazda made the P5 and the 3 hatch look more like their sedan counterparts.

Looks like the sedan to me! I thought the hatch was to look like this?

IMO, I REALLY like the way yours looks. I was hoping it wouldn't look like a station wagon!

That pic is of the Mazda6 sport wagon, separate from the hatch. Other than the bodystyle the only difference is the wagon comes with v6 standard, while the hatch can be had with 4 or 6 cylinders.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. He got the 6s Hatch, v6, leather, Bose, moonroof, side airbags, and 5-speed manu-matic auto.
