New 2025 broken fob

Month old 2025 and the lock/unlock switches have failed. Both rock back and forth, but it feels like the switch underneath has failed. No resistance or function. Fob was barely used.
Common failure?

I've seen no reports. My 2023 fob (new style) is still working perfectly, and I use it all the time.

As it should. My 2006 and 2014, 2019 vehicles all have original working fobs. It seems like a internal failure. Salesperson is claiming not covered by warranty, we’ll see.

The other buttons on the fob still work?

Just fixed it. Popped the cover and there’s a little piece that runs top to bottom under the switches that needed snapped in place.
