New 2013 Mazda 2 Venture Edition - subtle vibration sound concern

I picked up a brand new 2013 Mazda 2 Venture Edition two weeks ago. Last weekend I started noticing a small, quiet vibration - almost cricket like sound - intermittently. It is only audible with the car stereo turned off but it's noticable, yet quiet. It's more prevailant going over small bumps in the road, but also occurs somewhat on flatter surfaces. It's coming from the front but it's tough to pinpoint exactly where. Any thoughts on what it might be?

The car's brand new. Everything takes some settling in. Wait 1K miles, then take it to the Mazda dealership if it doesn't go away.

BTW, WTF is a Venture Edition? What's it come with? Also, post pics, please. :)

Thanks a lot for the reply. I don't want to overreact so I'll take your advice and see if it persists beyond 1k before taking it back. The Venture edition is, as I understand it, a limited special edition model of the 5 door Mazda 2 with some of the extra stuff (like sat-nav, rear parking sensors, rear spoiler, etc.) included. More info here - http://www.mazda.co.uk/cars/mazda2-venture/ - I'll add some pics online asap.

I like the navigation and have used it quite a bit especially for monitoring the traffic. I've normally used my iPhone for navigation in the past but the built in system is certainly more convenient.

I have had one of these for 2 weeks now, bought it pre-reg, so basically new, done nearly 600 miles now. Love the car, but there is a subtle vibration in mine which seems to emanate from the glovebox on certain road surfaces. Only on certain ridgy surfaces, and not a squeak on bumpier ones. Seems related to certain vibration frequencies. Not much of an issue and I will wait to see how it goes, though my previous Mazda 2 never gave a squeak so it's a little irritating. The plastics in the cabin are basic and seem to be largely clipped together so no surprise given some of the roads around here. I have tried slamming the glovebox shut which seemed to stop it for a few days but it comes back now and again. Also doesn't seem to be the stuff in the glovebox. I noticed that the glovebox when shut seems tight enough but not quite flush? Not a major problem but seems similar to your issue?
