NEPOC get ready for winter cleaning & install meet

the guage hook is aggresive...you can get it done and the soldering is not the issue...you'll need someone to assist and we can get it done for sure!

Sweet, I've got a gauge to hook up too. Question: Since it's an Oil Pressure gauge and I'm using the adapter that goes before the oil filter, I'm going to need to drain the oil, no? If so, would it be a good time to seafoam the car and then change the oil?

Here's all the new parts I have sitting around, maybe I can do one or two thigns on the list... lol

I think I'm all set to come and play. Don't really have anything I need to do, so maybe I'll just come and slap on some wax. :)

Yay...will finally get to meet you.

Hard to say without actually seeing the haze. I have the same issue with my lens and they have never been open. Though moisture can get in if you are changing bulbs, etc. We'll figure it out. I'll bring various stuff.

Sounds good and thanks!

Just did a bunch of work on the Jeep today, replaced the rust with bling. All new polished parts for door handles, mirrors, front grill, rear tail light protectors, and tailgate hinge.

Mirrors were a bolt-on piece of cake as were the tail light protectors (aside from the OEM ones being a pile of rust). Front grill popped right on too. However the door handles and tailgate hinge were a b****. Door handles seem like they pop right off, but to get access to the back of them you have to remove the door panel and glass and then somehow unclip things through the tiny window opening. New ones work like a charm though and don't stick. The tailgate was tough because the bolts were painted over. I had to scrape the edge of each bolt, heat them up, then torque them like hell to get em to move. I broke two torx bits in the process. One of them stripped due to the fact the rear was totally rusted out. I had to drill it out and pop it through...luckily I had access to the rear for that one so I could replace the bracket on the back with a new bolt from Ace.
