Neon SRT-4 ACR

hell yeah thats what they should have done from the start. That car's going to be one fugly-ass autocross monster.

update: more pictures :)

also i was reading in the other thread about why this is basically a normal car with suspension instead of the stripped down version. basically it's because 90% of the ACR neons they sold before had the AC and radio installed. granted it was an option to not get them, but almost nobody went with that option, so why change the production line for something nobody is going to buy. that stuff is as easy to take out as it is to put in, so why complicate things

Very nicely equipped car. And a bargain. But until they get rid if the Neon body, no thanks, it's too damn ugly. And I userstand the reasoning behind the smaller 16" wheels, but damn, that's some major wheel gap!
excellent choice to go with smaller/wider/MUCH lighter tires!!!
Chevy totally F'd up with those 18" monsters on the cobalt, this car looks like a lot of fun, should be even faster on the strip than stock SRT (nice rocket!) but HOLY MOTHER OF WHEEL GAP, you figure with a "tuned/track" suspension they would have cured this, my god...

wing is functional...at 157MPH last thing you need is the ass end getting all squirly ;)

bump, available to be ordered now, should be out relatively soon, a month or two i think. it's $1195 on top of the price of a regular srt. not bad at all. hopefully they come out soon so i can test drive one :)

and white shows up on dodge's web site as a color option for the srt

I wouldn't want to go 157mph in that thing. 99 percent of rear wings are just for looks.

no the wing is as functional as evo and sti ;) If you loose traction to the rear wheels you spin out quicker ;) some people beleve the wing is fully functional at 80 and roll them :( never plowed on dry land till I got the 6!

$1195 on top the price....sounds nice but Here they already wanted $28 for a SRT-4 w/o a sunroof and the Viper inspired seats!

$28k for an srt? maybe when they first came out, not recently they shouldn't cost that much. you can get them for invoice or real close to it, which i think is much closer to $21k, so the acr version should be around 23ish i would think depending on options

I actually like the out look of the SRT-4, but Dodge seriously need to hire someone from Mazda, Honda, or Audi to do their interior. The interior look so damn ugly. The steering wheel is a big turn off.
