I'm not 'that old'.....yet.
Damn! Will be time to trade her in soon for an ND.
But getting there Jeffey.
No ND in my future. Will keep Mia for some time.
Robin keeps insisting because I talk about new/the new ND and stayed up to watch that stupid US unveiling, that I must want a new car. I told her I would never get rid of the msm! She doesn't believe me, how sad!![]()
I used to say that I'd never get rid of my MSM. Then I did and am strangely enjoying the FWD again. Plus, may have another little something on the way too.

What? We are adding something new to the stable? Last I knew you have the....Fiat, Bavaria, Civic and 2002.
Awe come on. You can barely manage the cars you have!!
Buy a CX-5 and then have a 'diesel install meet'. Win-win.![]()
Miata will be hibernating soon, so I picked up this 2004 Saab 9-5 2.3t for $800. Was a trade-in at my work. Engine, trans, body, all in excellent shape. Just needs some minor exhaust and suspension work.
In reality, the 2002 belongs to someone else, and he needs to get the bugger out of my yard before I drop it off in his front yard. But yes, Fiat, Bavaria, Civic and coming soon...
1981 VW Rabbit Convertible. Super clean car, needs a couple little things to get it back to running 100%, but the owner has had it sitting in his driveway with an expired temporary tag for a bit, and the City saw it and bitched. I traded a bunch of parts worth some cash (that I didn't feel like putting effort forth in selling) for it. He's gonna sell the parts and get the money that he was trying to sell the car for, and I'm gonna get the car out of his way. More than likely, I'll flip it next spring for some cash BUT, it's set up for autocross as it sits. Suspension, LSD, some power mods, and different wheels / tires.
That's true, but alot of that also falls under the category of "I'm feeling really lazy and don't care right now." Which is unfortunate.
Installed my new wind screen, ditched the plastic OEM piece that really didn't work anyway. Thing works great specially with windows up, little wind noise and not so much blowing too
if we make it run on fry oil too, you've got yourself a deal![]()
I can get two 55 gallon drums of the stuff from the Country Club where I work....let the experiment begin! (evil)
Filled up the propane tank as the temps dip to 32 tonite.
Almost time for you to head south, I'd imagine?
Didn't know, thought the 2002 was an old project car. Any plans for the Rabbit or just auto-x it and then sell as-is next year?
I know it's not the same car but for some reason this movie popped into my head and I see Phen out in the driveway washing it to impress the ladies.
