Ha! Sounds almost exactly like my day. Did a complete detail of my wife's friends car, a huge boat called the Chrysler Concorde LXi in bright white.
Cleaned and detailed the engine bay first. Started perfectly sunny out, then clouds, then light rain as we washed it. Rain stopped for awhile and we clay barred.
Brought the car into the garage for the rest. Had to hit the car up with some rotary polish action and PB SSR3 in certain spots to remove light abrasions, deeper scratches, and scuff marks. Then the whole car with random orbital PB SSR3, then to PB SSR1, and at the end of the night Polish and Sealant.
Saw about 20 WRX/Sti's on 495 this am all in a nice neat single file row headed towards Rt2 going to the " Wicked Big Meet". At the Subaru dealer up the street from me there were about 10 subies meeting up. Saw my buddy mike up there swung in and had an opportunity to drive my buddies 09 WRX while he drove one of the dealer cars but was too damn tired to drive out there and stay there all day being I have to work tonight. I def will be doing this next year.

Might be getting my hands on a full red/black interior this week! Seats and door panels. Wicked excited...I hope it works out. I'll have to drive down to NJ to get them but it'll be worth it.

The guy just got back to me an hour ago. It's all mine if I want it. $600 for all seats and panels (they're in really good condition judging the photos). $700 if I want the steering wheel as well.
I'm going to take the wheel too...not sure if I want to go through the hassle installing it though.But for $100 I'm definitely going to scoop it up.
Picking everything up during the day Tuesday. Looong drive to New Jersey lol
Went to the actual wicked big meet today and it was pretty cool. Went in late because I wanted to put the truck back together and skip on paying at the gate, which worked out. Met up with some friends and stayed until the end. Local and state cops were there to handle the exit of all the cars.. some people getting pulled over. They seemed to target the cars with external wastegates. It was a fun time anyway.

hi from cloudy and oddly humid CT.
Stupid hot. On the drive down I had to put the top up and AC on.. 103 Deg is hot even with the top down.
Order of business today is: DMV, visit the springs/river for swimming, and then go to my secret photo spots later in the afternoon for a car shoot.
