talked to my brother-in-law, owns a body shop, he is going to take the ride with me tomorrow and look at it. He said from what he could see in the pics, which wasnt much, there was no paint fade or mis-match so it was probably very minor but in any even he is going to come with me and look at it. So I fell much better about that. I mean if it was minor and it was just the trunk or even bumper replaced, still a hell of a deal! So I am hoping to get a low enough payment to keep the P5 for the winter.

So I called the dealership on that car. They pulled up the carfax while I was on the phone. Told me it had been in a minor rear ender. No salvage title. The guy who traded it in was up front with them and told them that he had been rear ended but it only needed a new rear bumper and trunk. He told them the frame was fine, no other damage....but I dunno it sounds fishy!

My car was rear ended a month after I got it. New bumper, that's all. Never had any tire wear problems and it drives true. When you go to look at it, check the paint very carefully to see that it matches. Check under the car for unfixed damage. Check under the trunk carpet for anything fishey. Check the tires for proper wear. Check to see that it drives straight. If it all checks out, you will get a great deal!

Yea thanks for all the tips guys. I am sure between everything you all have told me and my BIL's know how I'm sure I will be able to make the right decision on this. I am just hoping it all works out and I can keep the P5 for the winter
