I have a garage door question for everyone...

Got a text this morning saying that the garage door spring is broken. Apparently it broke in two pieces. Have any of you done garage doors recently? Know a good place to go? I know I can just replace the spring but the door opener is wicked old (the casing is held on by half a screw) and I have to use the keypad because the remote is... special. I believe it's a torsion type but I'd have to look at it to be sure.

Home Depot sells the springs. Just need to know what color it was and you can replace it yourself. They're fairly cheap so I would do both sides at once.

seriously, im gone for about 9 hours and three or four pages go by. its so hard to keep up. lol. and posts like this one im writing now slow down the reader whos trying to catch up. so if your reading this...hate me. if i do this maybe it will make you read the whole thing and really slow you down. did 17 mi on the bike tonight, brought ryan along on his first road ride

bike shop had him ride a road bike instead of his mtn bike...only thing was it's a 50cm (same size as mine, way too small for him) and it had TT handlebars...bullhorns with end brakes, and aeros with friction shifters on the end of them...it was an experience...

All y'all.. made it to Myrtle Beach. A nice 15.5 hrs yesterday, with some stops & unplanned detours (missed exits, etc). 900+ miles. I think today is a low-key day. Will register soon. Tomorrow is autox/track day.

Quiet day today, only did 1 museum. Went to Union Station and had a late lunch. Place is fantastic.

Tomorrow the spy museum and then home on Saturday.

what makes you think I have control over the weather.

if I did, new england would be vastly different. 70 degrees all year round, no snow, and out of necessity, every wednesday afternoon it would rain, you know, just so stuff could get water to grow.
