NEMOC Random BS Thread

god no..

but I am test driving something.

ok.....were are the fricking details? please...:)

My stock pads would always squeal when i backed the car up. New pads are silent...and there is virtually no brake dust on the wheels anymore.

The stock pads on the 3 dust like mad. I realize it's winter and all but the amount of brake dust is ridiculous and the car has just over 100 miles.

ugh.. yeah the stock pads on my 6 dusted like crazy.. I managed to kill them in 36k miles.

Gah hit 30K last night. Going to have to look into brake pads, look into the brakes in general. They didn't feel right last night and have heard of people having the inner pad completely wear down to nothing while still a lot left on the outer pad. The brake would be hard to push without much braking until I left off and pumped it again...always a fun thing in a snow storm.

They would be fine until you stopped using the brakes for a while and you would have to pump it again for it to feel right.

What did you replace with? The 6 definitely has bad brake pads when it comes to dusting...
Rotora H2 Ceramics.

It was the rear inner pads that did me in. The rest would have lasted another 10K but i replaced everything at once. I got 48K out of them though so I shouldn't complain.

I was going to add Happy Hump day but after seeing the previous posts, I'm not so sure.

No kidding. I leave do actually do some work for 2 hours and the whole thread goes to hell lol.

Now that there's 2 pages of spam in the way I gotta ask the question again...

Mahk! How much did the upholstery in the p5 cost?

sneak peak.

I wish CSS3 would validate, and IE sucks.

It's coming together nicely. Just some thoughts.

The fonts would be cleaner and easier to read if they were a bit more consistent in style and sizes. They feel a bit too large for that amount of copy. If sized down a bit it would help with keeping your content above the fold. You should never have to scroll on a homepage. Top right were the tweets are is a better place for client testimonials.

In place of The Blog, use the space for client projects since that is your goal and focus of the website. The 3 icon buttons are confusing to me. They seem out of place and there's no reference to what they lead into. What is the difference between Web and Digital?

Shoot, my website is over 7 years old. Ikes! I thought about changing it up. I even worked on quite a few concepts and even an entire new website but in the end I simply tweaked what I have just a bit.

Edit: Found my old semi working dev site. http://www.altspace.com/dev/

Here's a web design company I work with. I really like what they did with their site. http://www.koamedia.com
