bigger network of car support (although probably half are wannabes)

...gonna go hang out with all those kids at CCSU?

In other news I was at the train station in Bridgeport last night for work, didn't realize how close to the curb I was while parking...and curbed the **** out of my front passenger wheel. It's bad, huge chunks taken out of 3 of the 7 spokes (or whatever you call them).

Going to try and ghetto-fix it when some grinding (to get rid of the nasty sharp points that were created) and carefully applied paint. I'll post pics tomorrow when I get to it. Haven't mustered the courage to go look at it now...I might cry.

Regular gas, easier clutch, more aftermarket parts, bigger network of car support (although probably half are wannabes). And I'd still have a vehicle that will fit 4 comfortably.
ok on the gas, ok on the clutch for shua, ok on the parts, but i rode in the back for a few hrs once and i didn't find it uncomfortable at all? (4 of us)

Xterra!

Can run over way more stuff then an impreza, less mod temptations, and is WAY better built/comfortable then a jeep.
Damn thing is actually quick too.
It can even get T-boned by an F550 bucket truck and only bend an axle....its true my wife tested it. Not sure why she felt the need, but its good know.

I had an xterra for a month and couldn't wait to get rid of it.

I'm 6 feet tall, and I never felt comfortable in it. It feels like the car was built for someone max 5'7.

It got 13mpg at best, and the engine was a complete dog.

Absolute worst vehicle I've ever had.

Update. Gary will be working for the 70 car while I am placed with Bob on the 69 car. I was also invited to work for Sahlen next season. Woo woo!

anyone familar with taking out CV shafts and/or willing to help me out? Everything else is apart, can't get them out, and worried about getting them in since I had to have someone else do it last time as well.

Well, haven't even gotten around to fixing my wheel yet...

Two days ago my truck lost it's brakes (as I was driving it (nailbyt)). Didn't look like it lost any brake fluid and it was pouring out so I couldn't see any brake fluid on the tire/ground. Went to AZ thinking my master cylinder went...went to replace it today and found all my brake fluid missing...stepped on the brake and fluid sprayed all over my tire...

Heading back to AZ now to return the cylinder and get a new brake line lol.

Had a great trip. Weather was pretty good and a lot cooler in NS. Covered about 1,726 miles. Best MPG was 34.7, worst was 24.7, mostly did 29 to 30 MPG. Not bad considering it was not all highway driving, the top was down most of the time, AC was running 90% of the time, trunk was loaded and driving back roads of Maine and NS.

Had to put the top up in ME on Monday and yesterday due to the heat.

Morning!

Got home from the New England Forest Rally last night. My camera died before I got to even shoot anything, and it was fully charged and off when I left so maybe the battery is toast.... So had to shoot with my phone..

We volunteered so we got to go where spectators couldn't. Some tire changes at our station which is pretty cool. The first one I was standing on a little hill and the car came flying in with a flat and was B-lining it right to me, wasn't sure what was going to happen but was able to stop.

Ken Block rolled on Friday, so he was out for points but was able to fix the car and return Saturday, did the stage 9 but retired after that not sure what happened.

Pastrana was winning after Ken Block was out, but on Stage 11 it was radioed that he went off and was okay, not sure what happened there but he DNF.

Antoine L'Estage was the winner of the weekend.

I will be uploading my stuff when I get it off my phone.

Was that one of the 1st gens?

Mine is larger, 0-60 in 7 seconds flat, 18-19 mpg mixed driving,

The seat bottom is a bit short so I could see that being annoying, but I have plenty of head room.

Here is the car and driver test results on it vs a few others from 06.

Anyone know a decent dyno place near southern NH?
I have to get the genesis tested.
