I really like the turtle wax hard shell, get the liquid bottle, it lays on there nice and good and it really protects the car for a while.. just do what it says on the bottle then buff your car really good and it will be super nice and shiny!

nice, I need to use the detailer spray wax stuff on mine just to clean it up a little bit, already detailed it completely at the beginning of the summer but I like to keep it nice and clean throughout the summer

Also, I've been debating the yellow Lamin-X overlays for my headlights/fogs. Are they even legal in ct? Will it be something a cop could hold over my head if I were to ever be pulled over?

Just put yellow laminx on my foglights. I don't see why they'd be illegal... I think blacked out taillights would be worse.

I was a bit more worried about the headlights than the fogs.

Yeah... there was the white RX-8 with yellow overlays on the headlights at the cape cod run.. and Josh is running around with them too.. *shrug* I think you'd be fine.

ya I'm about 90% sure they are not illegal, blacking out your lights are illegal I'm pretty sure, especially if you really black them out, im sure a little tint isn't though, especially on your fogs...a lot of cars don't even have fogs, so I'm sure you can do whatever you want with those..(just saw you put them on your headlights too, but ya as long as it really dims your light you should be set, I would ask a cop that you know a little bit, or an out of town cop rather.) The cop would be hard pressed to have to nail you with the overlays..and a real A$$

Rawr! Just got to work about 20 mins ago. Sitting around doing nothing at the moment. Metro North won't let the guys go up on the roof until 12:30am because they have to de-power a track so we have to wait for the trains to finish their schedules.

I'm so glad I bought my truck when I did...this job is racking up 1,000 miles a week on it. It was planned for 4-6 weeks but it's looking like it's going to be about 4 months when it's completed. If my math is correct that's about...16,000 miles I'd cry if that was going on my 8...although the mileage reimbursement would completely pay it off lol.

Good Morning all from Amherst NS. Had a great drive up yesterday, got off 95 and took Rte 6 thru Maine and 4 and 3 into Fredericton NB. Only bad part is the front of the car has dead bugs.

Dropped in on some old relatives of Mary's and then on to Amherst. My oldest Graduates from University today.
