Crazy weather out here today. An inch of rain has already fallen in central Connecticut and they're expecting another 2 to 3 inches of rain. They're saying not to be surprised if we see some places hitting the 6 or 7-inch rainfall mark.

Going to be some serious flooding in the next couple of days. I had actually took some photos around my area of some of the flooding because I hadn't seen it this bad in awhile. I'm going to have to head back out there once this ~4-5 inches of rain drains into the river lol.

These are the times I'm happy we paid out the money to get the french drain system put in the basement.

We def. would have had water a few weeks ago with all of the rain and melting snow.

At least it is falling over a longer period of time. Two weeks ago we got 5 inches of rain and it happened overnight.
