haha...long story short....spiral fracture of the 5th metatarsaul which put her in a hard cast for 13 weeks last summer (due to bone density issues we found out about in the Fall) followed by several weeks in a boot (we lovingly call it 'das boot') then by several weeks of therapy. She was back on her feet in time for the upcoming dance season (she teaches ballet/tap/jazz to 5-10yo part-time) where she took it easy but lo and behold around April she started getting intense pain and another trip to the ortho revealed another fracture in a different part of the foot. Several weeks back in the boot she went and now she is working her way to a 45 minute walk with no pain.
In the past year she has had multiple x-rays, two dexoscans, three mris and lots of blood work done.
Her body doesn't absorb vit D the way it should so the doc wanted her to take supplemental vitamins as well as soaking up the free vitamin d found in sunrays....however the skin doc she needs to visit every nine months disagrees.

Just got on the comp for the first time in two days. Car is presently at the shop getting all new timing parts, tensioners, water pump and hopefully the cam gear that makes it sound like a diesal.
Gonna be one expensive bill but I can't be without a car. Mechanic took a look at it and said the belt was loose, and the front cam was off by 4 teeth. Musta been a recent thing cuz it ran great on the rally.
