Worse than Jersey? lol I think we can lump the majority of Prius owners into that catergory. Around here they are either in the right or center lane hypermiling. I don't mind if you are in the right lane but at rush hour in a 65mph don't do it in the center lane!!! Or they are weaving in and out of three lanes of traffic doing 80-90mph!

Watched a good movie last weekend. Pulp Fiction. I had never seen it and my son was asking to watch it so we watched together. The following night we watched Django Unchained. With Hateful Eight being in the theaters he is all about Tarentino.
 
It doesn't seem to matter which city I'm in, the drivers suck. Although one item seems to get worse the further south I go, turn signals or rather lack off.

Crappy day weatherwise here tomorrow so going to see the latest start wars in 3d. Saturday watching the pats hopefully stay in the race.
 
Weather was rough last Tuesday on my way home. Drove by half a dozen spin outs. Glad I had my studded snows on, could barely tell traction was limited.

im really hoping the seahawks get knocked out soon just to see the entire city butt hurt. The amount of seahawks gear that I see daily is just insane.

big snow weekend out here, I may have to spur of the moment go out to a mountain tomorrow morning or something. Lots of powder coming
 
We have our 3rd storm rolling here again this weekend. The last 2 this week have had small tornadoes that have been causing some destruction in Cape Coral and Ft Myers. Ripped off roofs and cars, boats and other vehicles being overturned and lots of flooding. Luckily so far no damage for us.

Bought a tune from TDR in November and hoping to get it done this coming week.

On my way to Foxboro yesterday, I saw a woman in an Acura TL attempt to pass someone on the right, lose complete control, spin, block two lanes, floor it, catch up to the person she was trying to pass at 90+ mph, and proceed to pass them on the right, all before the 295/95 merge in Mass.

Couldn't freaking believe it. Mass drivers take the cake.
 
Don't worry, I sure she will crash somewhere soon. Hopefully alone.

Got my tune done yesterday with Jay from TDR. I think I'm going to lose my license.
 
Hey! Everybody have their snow shovels primed and ready to go? Supposed to get 8-14" here over the weekend. I won't mind given it's on the weekend. Will clear the driveway at my leisure and have no plans to go anywhere.

That is crazy Sean. She's obviously a horrible driver but you can't say she lacks determination. I mean she did make that pass. That is one of those classic "where are the police" moments. Thankfully no one was hurt.

LMAO Bruce. So the tune makes that much of a difference? I've always thought tunes were for FI but the more I research upgrading the exhaust the more I'm seeing tunes are recommended, even with just an axle back.
 
I decided to do it after I got the header installed. Much more punch in the lower gears and in the 3k range and up. Also raised the rev limit which will help in autox.
 
Hey, started my tranny swap, hopefully I'll get it out this weekend and boxed up to be shipped to another member looking for a 6 speed. Bruce, glad to hear you are enjoying the new tune! Snow we got last week is all but gone, was 50 yesterday! Love global warming![emoji106]
Robin is enjoying some snow in NC too, but it was 60 yesterday, so it doesn't last too long.
Looking forward to Aug when I say good by to full time commuting and work!

oh right! you're doing the 5spd swap right? The one time I got to drive an msm I just did not like the 6spd.

p5 was dropped off at another shop last night. First place it went to said he could not get alternator bolt off due to "not having a torch". All shops have torches! Something else must have been up. Really hoping it gets taken care of this time
 
Mark, you must be counting the days. What's the plan for next winter?Leaving Ft Myers on Monday and heading to Cedar Key FL for February. Got another autox lined up for Valentines Day.
 
Yea, the six speed really sucks for autocross for sure. So next winter I'll be in NC for 3 months jan thru March. Once I stop work altogether, i'lol probably spend 5 months down south. I'll head down to my moms in Venice fl on the gulf for a few weeks for sure!!! We could definitely hook up Bruce!
Im in midst of a transition plan with my job so come August 26 I'll be working from home everyday and maybe go into the office once a month. I hope to do that for at least a couple of years taking a LOA for 3 months every jan.
 
Nice, but too cold in NC for Jan to Mar for me. We spent Jan in Ft Myers which was perfect for me, didn't NC have snow??

Headed up to Sarasota on Sunday to meet up with Friends. Packing up the rig tomorrow so we can hit the road Monday for Cedar Key.

I hear ha, but the snow they had lasts for like a day or two and gone, it will be in the 60's this week. That fine by me and I'll get to spend time with the kiddies!
my mom is a bit south of Sarasota, Venice ( and my brother). Have fun, oh yea, you going to the Glen this yo and stay for more that 18 hrs???
 
So work progress update on the 5 speed swap, everything is unplug/unconnected, tranny supported from above, and drive shaft is out, now the fun, unbolting her and dropping her down. Off to NC for a week so she'll have to wait till I get back [emoji6]
