NEMOC Random BS Thread

I thought "Happy VD Day" was a little redundant...hehe

Is it 5pm yet? Ugh....I've spent the last hour updating/checking box descriptions for 'expense reports'. Back in '05 we eliminated said reports as a stand alone record and merged them with AP records. In January of this year, they decided to make them a stand alone record once again. I've only got 1596 boxes of AP records in my warehouse/data base to sort through.

Anyone looking for a pick-up? A little ragged on the outside, but some TLC is apparent under the hood.

ery tempting!
that is a cool truck and in great shape...notice empty oil bottle in the passengers floor.....;)
Hi Phen!!

Not bad going back to work. Back is still a little stiff but feeling better.
glad to hear you're back slaving like the rest of us slobs! don't do anything to mess up your back again dude! ;)

Truck looks like it has some rust below the doors, might not pass NH inspection, but if it drives it's a great deal at that price.

Mike, don't think I ever had a chance to meet you at any of the meets I've been too but Congrats on the new job and raise. I live in Easton, about 30 miles south of the Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg areas. And I read your link over to rx8club...great read and very informative!

Thanks :)

I got a bit more verbose than usual over a few weeks in mid 2010 and then realized I should put all the scattered posts together. I've maintained it since, and it has become the most linked thread on the forum. We still have the non-reading noobs, but it's refreshing now how many people join with that basic knowledge already. Totally worth the time and effort.

Looking forward to seeing you around, and knowing I'm still in NEPOC territory )

mike's a very knowledgeable guy!

Thanks :)

jeff, not yet...he said he was picking up the new car this month...i'll be seeing him next week, see hwta he say's
That's the problem, not sure what happened in the 1st place. It happened just after I turned 55, hmmm.

Good afternoon....any snow up North? It's flurrying here but nothing is sticking to the ground. If it wasn't for the cold temps, I'd install the MX-5 wheels this weekend. Biggest snow fall we've had all season was on Oct 25th...at least my snow tires got a good work out on the drive home from Mahk's that day.

Glad you are feeling better Bruce.

Gotcha Mahk. Hadn't seen any posts so didn't know if it might have fallen through.

lol Mike, yeah even in PA you are still in NEPOC terrirtory. I don't get up to the Pocono area much but if you should ever see a classic red P5 there or down in the LV, look for the NEPOC stickah on the back window...that's me. :)

No can see pics Josh but will be checking when I get home tonight.

I kind of want the rototruck. I'd have no idea what to do with it though.
I showed it to Amanda and she's seriously excited about it. I would definitely make use of it hauling the mountain bikes around during the summer. Plus it would be fun to take to car shows n stuff, provided the frame is in good shape and I could resolve the rust issues.

I emailed the guy this morning. Waiting to hear back. If the drive train is in sound condition i may take a ride down to look at it. I spent some time today cruising the REPU forum. There are a few good examples of them out on the west coast but none in original condition. It's rare to find them on the east coast.

working in an office is so kinda boring :( but not terrible.

not going to powder coat marks mp3 wheels, just too much money for that so Ill keep them silver and paint them over the winter. now im just deciding between getting all seasons or summers put on them

I've never seen one in person. It would certainly be a cool thing to have.. I'd imagine it would be summer only though.. the salt in NH would eat that thing alive.
