NEED YOUR HELP ! -back passenger wheel area just starting making a squeallin noise -

Hello Guys,

I was coming back from out of town and I noticed [45 miles on hwy], and when I got about 4-5 miles from home, I noticed an echoing noise and then a squealling. I have never had any car do this in 30 yrs. I have a 2009 CX9 2WD. Is this a bearing or something going out? Should I take to dealer or other reputable place?

JUst want to know ASAP what I am facing and possibly going to have to spend so I wherever I go, I do not get slammed.

Spoke to my brother and he said it could be the brake-wear indicator making the noise...does this sound correct?

Believe it or not, the problem was very minor. The metal guard that protects the rotar/brakes from the underneath of the car was bent and was rubbing on the inside of the rotar. Once he straightened it out, no more noise. I guess on the interstate the right front inside of the tire hit something and bent it...the shop that i go to he didn't even charge me a dime...he has a nice lunch coming this week.
