Hmmm just thought of them off the top of my head, glad to hear that there are other kick ass ppl in this world ... anywhoo ... havent really been able to get online so sorry I took so long ... Ill be back another time.

Overplayed does not = bad, especially since he's new to trance/electronica. Here's a good mix of vocal trance and regular trance to get you started:

Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone
ATB - Don't Stop
ATB - Hold You (Svenson & Gielen remix)
Aurora - The Day It Rained Forever (monoboy vocal mix)
Ayla - Angelfalls
Darude - Feel the Beat
DJ Encore - I See Right Through to You
DJ Encore - Walking in the Sky
DJ Sammy feat. Yanou - Heaven
DJs@Work - Someday
The Roc Project feat. Tina Arena - Never (DJ Tiesto remix)
Web - Mornings

/me waits for the inevitable "OMG that song is sooo 2001" or "gawd, that's overplayed!"

it pisses me off when people call punk music, rock music. or my favorite band tool, gothic music. people just dont know any better, and could give a rats ass to care.
Whoever calls Tool gothic needs to be severly beaten(argh)

i'll try to find the name of the web site but i downloaded some techno music from finland and germany and a few from london..there techno is bad ass. it is some awesome music, when you hear it, you can clearly tell that it is not of this country. the web site is not like kaaza. it is free file sharing. it lists about 1000 songs or better. do you have a tower records close to you? if so they sell some foreign techno. you might even find some on there web site. in the mean time i'll search when i get to the house. i'm at work until 7 pm (down south time)...lol (ughdance)

Anyone know anything that sounds like prodigy - the fat of the land. I liked that cd back when it came out and like it even more now. Im not so much into the trance stuff but i like some scattered vocals, bass, and some rock elements? Anyone know of anything that sounds like prodigy. I also got their old album and the newest one and its just not the same. I need more songs like Firestarter, breathe, and serial thriller?

alright if u go that route how about some WIPEOUT XL

remember back in the dayz of PS1

there s some classic techno artist on that soundtrack:

the future sound of london / we have explosive
fluke / atom bomb
the chemical brothers / loops of fury
underworld / tin there
photek / the third sequence
the chemical brothers / leave home (underworld mix)
the future sound of london / we have explosive (herd killing)
prodigy / firestarter (instrumental)
fluke / u six
daft punk / musique
source direct / 2097
photek / titan
orbital / petrol
leftfield / afro ride

can t go wrong with some good ol chem bros sometimes. some of there newer stuff gets yah rockin. also do NOT get the newest FSOL with the naked pics on the cover it sounds like way to many drug experiences mushed into music and it sux. their previous werks are profound pieces of multi frequency waveform art.

rave on (guitar)

oh yeah: curly says "press play"

I'm surprised that this link isn't in here yet so here it is.

different DJ's and different types of "techno" but mostly really excellent music.
