Update! So i fixed my exhaust manifold leak. Thing is no the car doesn't build boost. My tech thinks its a bad turbo but when we go and get to high rpms we can hear the wga making air noise like not holding boost. The car has no cel. Can someone shed some light please? P.O must've really broken the car and lied to me.

Edit: Also my rpm idle at like 800 and stays there. So i dont think its a leak somewhere..No CEL and my car doesnt make that whistle noise when theres an exhaust leak. I'll check again tommorow.

Do some checks on the head before you just pop it on. Make sure it's not warped, I would do new valve seals since you already have it off. If there were leaks coming from where the exhaust mani wa bolting up to the head then yes you would have problems with boost.

Everything looks good. Well my technician rather we just use a Helicoil kit...which is something that never crossed my mind >.> So lets see if that'll fix my problem.

Im almost tempted to just get a new turbo..cause i will be having extra cash soon..also i was thinking..could a bad WGA cause no Boost? Im stuck between a bad turbo/WGA/ or a possible leak but every hose and pipe is clamp tight and neat..

Maybe a dumb question, but did your wga rod come off the wastegate flapper itself? They are only held on by a rusty little clip...if it's off, the wastegate is always open, needs to stay closed to build boost

your just going to have to pull and inspect the turbo and see what you find. Its not hard just make sure you have the extra gaskets that you need.

My tech and I will look at it. I hope its not the turbo. Thanks for the helps so far fellas. I really appreciate it.
