How did I miss the point??? Why do you insist a car can only have great handling OR blazing speed???? I'm here to say it's possible to have BOTH!! Why you don't want to believe this is beyond me but I'm through with you so I could care less. L8R!!

Get a ******* clue about how the car works. Learn to drive it correctly. Learn to read it's handling; it's engine noises; it's revving sound. There's more to this car than most others and I'm very disappointed many of you don't realize that.

(werd) How many times has the question about the "whining" sound from the engine come up?? I didn't buy this car because I wanted to kill every other car on the road. I bought it because A) it has way more power/torque than my Civic, B)It's turbo'd...SWEEET!!, C) It's SPICY ORANGE... D)It handles great right out of the box. I've had this car 6 months, I've got 12,000 miles on it, and I'm just getting my MBC. I waited until I knew a little more about what I was doing. Not just asking "What do I need to get 225WHP," or "How do I beat and SRT?" as soon as I got the car...

Dude... HOLY s***!!!! I don't need this tag team crap!! Come on!!! You're getting an MBC!!! Why?? so you can goooooooooooo faster!!!! Is that wrong??? HELL NO!!! (unless you boost it too high of course) As far as your motivation goes... I could care less!!! Maybe you want to be able to run with your next closest competior ie. the SRT-4. Maybe you simply want to be able to feel even MORE boost when you put the throttle down. Whatever you reason... it's YOUR REASON!! I respect that. So respect mine!! I want it ALL. If I want to be able to run with the SRT's and feel good about doing it... so freakin what??? I just dont' get how that's such a big deal!!!

In short, for as long as I can remember, I've ALWAYS looked to the NEXT fastest, the NEXT best at whatever it is I was doing... playing baseball, football, wrestling, golf, sales (my current profession) ... you name it!! Why? Because that's who I had to "catch" in order to IMPROVE!!! Why so many people seem to hate the concept of improvement is beyond me!! Anywayz... once I got to the next level, I'd hopefully continue the process. At this very moment, the pecking order for sub $20,000 pocket rockets is Ford Focus SVT, MSP, and SRT Good company indeed!! We should all be VERY PROUD to own the car we have. Though it can be argued that we have better handling cars than either of the other two and certainly a better list of standard features, we're giving up a lot in the HP dept to the SRT. Contrary to popular oppinion, I am not an SRT basher. I have a lot of respect for that car. Which is why I'm interested in achieving similar performance numbers out of mine. (in a safe manner) Is that so wrong???? I don't think so! When I wrestled in HS, I attended every class I could to get better... I needed a goal so I set my eyes on the guy who started at my weight class last year. I made it my goal to beat him. For those who think that's bad, you need to learn a little something about the spirit of competition!! It's what DRIVES US ALL TO GREATER HEIGHTS!!! Remember "kids"... complaceny is our ENEMY!! L8R

i love the my speed no doubt but i myself would change one thing, or better yet add and thats more hp. i am looking for somewhere around 220hp.
guys i dont see nothing wrong with making it up to par with a couple other compacts out there (powerwise i mean).
