need some help

Hey all. I have a couple questions that i am hoping to get some help with. First the fan that comes on when i run my heater will only work on setting 4. the other is my rear windshield wiper is broken it just hangs there and you can freely spin it all the way around. I am hoping you guys can tell me what is wrong in both cases and what it will take to fix both issues. thanks in advance for any help.

Fan problem -- blower motor resistor is busted. Replace with new one. Shouldn't be too expensive.

Actually, pull the fan switch and look at the connectors. Mine were burnt up. I crimped on new female connectors and wrapped it. Works well ever since...

The rear wiper arm spline may be stripped. Remove and inspect the arm.
