Greetings all. As I'm sure many of you have been able to guess, I'm a first-time poster here. My name is Will, and I'm from the South West Florida area. I realize that my being a "newbie" here means that my words here have very little value. But I'm looking to do business with anyone who's interested.
I have a kind of odd request. I'm sure the thread title made a couple of you go "...wtf?" Allow me to explain myself.
About 3, maybe 3 1/2 years ago, I bought a DeLorean. Around the same time, a man named Jim of Elise USA had removed the 2.8 liter stock motor from his DeLorean, and dropped in a 20B-REW, which he had gotten from a 1990 Eunos Cosmo. He then mated this 20B to a Porsche 6-speed transmission. What caught my eye of his project more than anything else was the fact that he took the dash instrument cluster from the Eunos, and stuffed it inside the DeLorean's binnacle. You can find more information about this particular car, along with a few pictures here: http://www.eliseusa.com/rotary.htm
I've been in contact with him for about two weeks, and we're looking to drop a Eunos dash inside my 1981 DeLorean. We need a few things to get started, though.
First and foremost, we need the shop manual, wiring diagrams, along with the instrument cluster itself, all the harnesses, so on and so forth. Pretty much all the electricals that are connected to that dash, we're probably going to need. Therefore, if there's anyone here who has parts, or knows how or where to get them, do let me know. If you have an old Eunos shop manual that's just hanging around somewhere, I'm willing to pay very good money for it. And even if you don't wanna sell it, if you could even scan it for me, that would be a big help. If there's anyone who can offer up some good advice, I'm all ears. Once this project is finished, I will be more than happy to post up some pictures of the finished product.
Thanks to everyone out there who took the time to read this thread up to this point. I hope to hear from everyone soon.
Regards,
Will
