need some advice

hello everyone, i got a 2004 mazda 3s 2.3l mt a few months ago my speedometer stop working after the tranny was replaced my check engine light its on when i got it scann its reads that the speed sensor is bad i got a new one from mazda and its stil read the same and the speedomter stil not working i had check just about everything that i know and i cant find anything, its theirs anyone who can help me with this?

wiring may be bad? did you check that?

check wiring and the fuse.

fuse is fine, i will have to check the wiring, any specific wire or everything?

Wire and connector. Make sure pin hasn't snapped off etc.

did this start AFTER your trans was replaced??

yes, before that it was fine

it looks like the wire in the connector is in bad shape, but i dont know how to fix that.... any advice

can the connector be taken apart to fix it or i will have to buy a new one ?
