I wanna rev higher maybe 7half or more. is this possible i mean i know i need cams, ecu, etc. what else do i need besides those two?
 
i believe you have to upgrade your valve springs and cams to make your revs higher without bouncing off the rev limiter. why do you want to rev higher, it's not like we have vtec, lol . just go for more power, thus, exhaust, header,intake, iM,cams, mp3 ecu, and then turbo .

ha ha yeah i know, its not like we have vtech anyway. i still want to though. but yeah, i got mostly every mods that u mentioned except for the ecu and the turbo. im not planning on going turbo though. does the dealership sell the mp3 ecu and does it make any difference?

Being able to rev higher doesnt mean you are going to make more power . First off you will have to remove the rev limiter , Hav a way to get the extra fuel in the carthis means a stard alone ecu , A total rebuild of the engine ,. The engine isnt a high reving engine to begin with ,like it was said if you really want more power go turbo .
 
Throttle body

Ive looked for a throttle body and intake manifold for my es, but cant find one anywhere, what will work, like a probe or focus many,or throttle body, anthing like that. Ive thought about just shaving mine out but dont know if it will help much. Also what would you guys say is a safe shift Rev? My mods are mainly, Headers, high flow cat, res. straight piped, and flowmaster muf. Ive got k&n cold air, and ngk iridium spark plugs and racing wires coming also a voltage stabilizer, i also need to know what i could do next, i wanting to invest in cams and ecu next also, but anything not more than 100 bucks i could do to get some good results?

Your next mod = Remove your VTCS on your intake mani.

No, but there is a noticable difference. As for intakes, i don't think there is any difference, kinda personal preference.

the cons people see with short rams is that they are still enclosed in the engine bay and usually not protected like the stock airbox is so you're basically sucking in really hot air meaning less power.

the cons with a cai is the fact that it sits so low to the ground and is very prone to sucking up water and killing your motor.

I have a cai though and like it more than a short ram. but thats me

i also gotta nother ? bout the mass air sensor, are any of you guys doing anything to yours, altering it i mean, cause if you look it is really blocking the air way, but maybe not i dunno, just looks like it to me.
 
i still need to know if anyone has done anything to the mass air sensor, but also...will the performance intake manifold for the MSP found at protegegarage.com work with an NA pro ES?
