Need MP3 shifter input

I bought my MP3 used a couple weeks ago. The previous owner took his shift knob and the company I bought the car from put a momo "raptor" style knob on. The shift boot doesn't seem to fit correctly and I'm now wondering if the shifter has been replaced with a short shifter. Can anyone post pics of what a stock shifter should look like and possibly compare to a ss? I'm thinking about buying a TWM kit and I don't want to buy a short shifter if I already have one.

the mp3 is the only shifter thats different... thread wise. it sits shorter than regular proteges and p5s. it should be about 2 inch above the console? at least mine seems like 2 or 3 inchs above it. short shifter will be about a inch above or so. if you have a hard time finding a shift knob that fits its probably the stock mp3 one =)
