rear motor mount replaces the (weak) stock piece. This upgrade makes it less likely that you will miss a shift under heavy acceleration. The stock piece is made of fairly weak rubber, which is great for vibration dampening, but can cause the engine to twist or rotate under heavy load. The upgrade stiffens this up, keeping the engine in place. It will, however, increase cabin vibration...just know that ahead of time. Some will be worse than others...just depends on the material the mount is made from.
General note for mounts...the higher the durometer of the material, the stiffer the mount will be, the less the engine will move, and the more the cabin will vibrate.
i seee, i guess its all up to how much vibration am i willing to take for the engine to move less...
what exactly do you "love" about a bov that a bpv cant do?
this car is designed to run in full recirc. you risk backfiring, running pig rich, fouling sparkplugs, and damaging your cats by running a bov.
stock bpv w/a cobb sri
would getting a forge unit bpv be a better decision then? im without a doubt getting the cobb sri
