Need longer crank time on China remote starter

Hi again. Yup, goin' crazy! I had a Thor car alarm/remote starter system installed several months ago. Car starts perfectly when warm but has trouble now in winter. Car cranks but doesn't start. New battery and everything. Problem is that my Thor alarm system needs to be programed for a longer crank time, but I'm pretty sure the model I have doesn't support this. Is there a hack I can do?? Any resisters I can add to increase the crank time? I've also read about wiring a second ignition wire, but according to the guy who instlled the alarm, the P5 doesn't have a second ignition wire. He also looked it up on 2 separate softwares... Any help? Thanks!

You'd probably be better off finding out why the crank time is so long. If you continually crank it for long times before starting, it will kill your starter.
Is the new battery the same CCAs as OE (at least)? Check the primary lead/ground wires also.

Thanks for the reply, Ratlabguy. Yes, the battery has more than enough CCA. I forget how many, but I opted for the highest value available. The issue is definitely a timing problem. It cranks for like 1 second then stops. And getting a half-decent reply from anyone in China is like pulling teeth. They have told me tonight that there is no setting adjustment on the model I own for crank duration, but (no kidding) they happen to have an updated model I can purchase that DOES have the option to set the crank time. So I was just wondering if there's a sorta back-door or something. A work-around...
