Need input on a faint noise

:
06 LS MS6
07 BM GT (shell has been struck from the roll)
I have my new tweets and 15 band EQ installed, and a noise that I think was there before, is now noticeable instead of just barely detectable

It is faintly crackley like spark noise, mebbe like dirty sparky commutator brushes.
not present with engine off
no change in pitch with engine speed change
does get slightly louder with speed change

any thoughts?

Sounds like it could be a bad ground. That can cause some ignition noise to leak in. Might need an induction coil on the hot side. I used to know the values for those things, but it's been over 25 years since I installed car audio for a living.

every time with heavy dew present, and only on the first start

yeah, its dew, and its in the EQ

I pulled the RCA outs from the eq prior to start on a couple dewy mornings and it was fine. rears powered with normalcy after 10 sec or so I recon the EQ (front) and no prob,

runnin damprid for a week and pullin moisture outta the cabin
