Need Hp

What modifications can I install to increase my HP? Currently the only for sure thing I intend on installing is the unorthodox pulley. Please inform me of dynos you've seen on these parts and expected gains from those modifications.
Also if you have seen the mazdaspeed protege featured in an article let me know the publication and month shown.

I hate to say this to you and come across as an ass, but please search and read some past posts. There's more information here than just this first page of threads. Both topics have been discussed an insane amount of times.

you tell him t3ase. DooD, seriously, you have PMed me and seemed pretty kewl, but in certain threads, have come off as a big throbbing member. :D

Use the search feature, and you can find all you need. I have a thread with baseline dyno charts on it, and i will have dyno sheets with different mods in 2 weeks. :D

And that is about the most responces you will get on topic, jsut about anything else would be flames (not necessarily from me) from here on out. :D

This is what this site is about. Here is the answer we give every newbie who asks this question and there have been a lot. Use the search button. It is your friend type in anything and it will give you what you want. Please do not come to us for such a broad question because we don't want to beat a dead and decaying horse.

No need for sarcasm. Put yourself in our shoes. What would you say if every other day someone came to you and asked the exact same question you did, especially when you are at a site that deals with that topic almost exclusively. That is why we are members of this community. It's like going to a McDonalds and asking them if they sell hamburgers, a pretty silly question don't you think. We try to be patient but sometimes the disgruntled postal worker inside us gets out and makes it into our posts

kay monkeys, I cant find what I'm looking for can someone help me search. Please! I think this is as nice as I can mustar.
go to the search button and type in "turbo" or "performance"
try that first. go thru the threads and see if any are appealing from the list it brings up and we can go from there

I would probably do some asessment in this mater possible equations would be to have a notepad saved on your desktop with links to threads for the questions I see everyday, since they're seen everyday you could point people to them directly! Also change your search to at least two words so I can search for gain hp, as opposed to gain horse power which nobody uses. Also I would try to make a point throughout my day to help others. People karma is all around us, someday you will be wailed upon in your retirment village for your actions in these forums!

If you've ever modded a car before (turbo) then just do the same things. There's nothing different from this turbo to the next, really...it's all just a compressor/pump and intercooler...Do the things that will increase efficiency in such a system. If you haven't (and I haven't yet) read Corky Bell's book which apparently covers all this. If you want to just do aftermarket and not homebrew (they all do the same..just if you want names) then search the typical aftermarket monsters for mazdas like HKS, Injen, K&N, GReddy, Spool, etc. Modding this car is the same as modding any other. Decrease intake temperature to manifold, increase flow rates through the system. There's more to it but that's the basics. Start with those then move to mechanical changes. And to prevent flames :retard-ant suit on:
:D
