Need helppp

just got my msp 2003.5 and i'm in love but unfortunately the previous owner road from outta state here with a shot caliper and no break pad, so after some break work, and a new 02 sensor the car is in good shape, BUT the idiot manually dropped the cars boost to 3psi, i am very new to mazdas a do not know how to manually up the boost, I know that I have to loosen a nut on the wastegate towards the wastegate in order to raise boost and i do have a boost gauge. can anyone help me? really don't want to mess it up

I'm pretty sure the wastegate on our car is not adjustable. Are you sure you don't have a boost leak?

The stock WGA arm is threaded so technically it is adjustable, but i would never suggest it.
