Need help with suspension question.

I have been looking all over for a full quick strut kit for my 99 1.6L protege, but can't find any. I found the 2000 1.6L version easily, but I don't know if they would fit or not. Does anyone know if the 2000 version would fit my car or no? I have my cousin that does the work on my car in the driveway, and tight on money so trying to get a full kit instead of having to rent a spring compressor.

Idk if you mean coilovers or a standard strut assembly but yes the 00 strut assembly is the same as the 99

yeah I was meaning the normal standard assembly where it all comes pre assembled, like the strut, spring, boot, and all that other stuff is already together so that all you gotta do it take the old one off and put the new one on, no messing with compressing the spring or anything.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the 1.8 and the 1.6 use the same. I referenced the part numbers and it says they are the same.
