I bought a pair of Luminics H7 lowbeams and a pair of Luminics H11 foglights and I can't remove the factory lights. I looked in the manual and did what it said. On the lowbeams, I can't get the retaining thing to unhook. Push in and down and swing it away from the bulb. I can't do it! Turn the foglights counter clockwise and pull straight back. It turns a little bit and won't turn any more. Do you guys know of any tricks that there might be to removing the bulbs?

oh man. im sorry to hear you are trying to get those damn low beams out. I had the same experience. I was going with HIDs and i spent seriously over 4 hours trying to unclip the damn retainer. It is tough but you have to just keep doing what you are doing. In my car, the driver side was way tougher than the other. The passenger only took 10 minutes to unclip while the drivers took hours spanning a couple of days. My only recommendation to unclip the retainer is to just keep trying but be careful. I pressed mine so hard that it actually bent out of position, yeah it unclipped eventually but it wouldt clip again cause it was bent. even after i tried to reshape it, it didnt clip. I was lucky that the HID bulbs were a bit larger than the stock and i was actually able to secure it just using the rubber ring. I know is ghetto but i have been using it for a while now and the bulb has not moved at all.
Good luck man. Let me know how it goes.

Me and a buddy found a how to and got them replaced pretty easily. Haven't installed fog lights yet but I am very displeased with my new low beams. They look cool but hardly put out any light. Now I am saving up for a 6000K low beam HID kit. I'm looking at the McCulloch kit. Will any H7 HID kit work? And, will it void any part of my warranty?
