Need help to choose the trim and options

I am going to retire my 20 year old Corolla wagon with 1/4 of a million miles on odometer pretty soon:-).
Mazda3 hatch seem to be a logical choice. I do not need sunroof, leather, I-loop or 2.5L.

2.0L /6MT hatch with GPS (info system, I guess) and I would like to have a shot at adaptive cruise control
and other safety options if possible.
What are my choices/options and what is the best price anyone on this forum paid for such car?

You have to go up to the 2.5L, sunroof, and leather to get adaptive cruise control only available on the s Grand Touring). So that's out.

If you prefer cloth you're looking at an i Touring with the Tech package. If you prefer fake imitation leatherette vinyl, then you want the i Grand Touring, but then you have to take the sunroof (but not leather or the 2.5L).

Thanks for info.
i Touring with Tech than,
or I can wait for 2015 model and see if adaptive cruise control
trickle down to more affordable lines?

If you can wait for the 2015s to be announced, do so. I have a feeling they'll be shuffling up the trims and packaging somewhat, though I strongly doubt adaptive cruise control will make it down to the 2.0L models, the radar unit is too costly. But at least you'll be able to decide between 2014 trim packaging and 2015 trim packaging.

Any word on when the 2015 packages will be announced? I'm in the same boat: no current trim packages fit exactly what I'm looking for.

That makes 2 of us. If they'd offer HIDs, HUD & the better dash on the iGT I'd be ok with the 2.0
But, I'm just waiting & watching the forums for any clue of the 2.5 6MT.

Why wait?
You can go to Mazdausa.com, and send them an email to tell you what Mazda want to see changed for 2015 models.
There might still be time to change that.
