Ok guys I took your advice and went out to listen to some local setups today. Right now I am left with this for my MSP sound setup.

JL AUDIO XR570.CSi for the fronts: http://www.jlaudio.com/evolution/XR570CS.html

and JL Audio XR650-CSi's for the rears: http://www.jlaudio.com/evolution/XR650CS.html

This will be coupled with My MOMO '12 sub and momo amp. The Headunit that is going to be used is: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe/images/portal/cit_3442/64496605DEH-P960MP_open_closed_large2.jpg

I now need to figure out what speaker amp to buy and I have no idea what would be ideal for these speakers. Someone please shed some light.

Thanks again guys :)

to start things off is this any good? : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4950&item=5710344917&rd=1

First off, there is no need for components in the rear. Just get some coaxials if rear speakers are really what you want. Phoenix Gold makes some good stuff, but personally I would go with this amp over the PG:

Now, if you stepped up the PG to say...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4950&item=5711671425&rd=1, then you are talking. But I tried to find something in roughly the same price range as the one you listed

what brand are you using for the sub --- some people like to have the same brand amp so it matches ---- if that is not a consern -- then something like this
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=11726
would be good since its also a JL brand --- Just my opinion

i am a user and a fan of the Old school Rockford Fosgate -- punch and power amplifiers -- but some of those are hard to find -- i here the new stuff is going to be really good -- kinda like the old stuff -- but we will see ---

To start off...don't cheap out. Spend the money to get something good. You really don't need the components in the rear...so if you avoid those, and simply power the rear fill speakers (I suggest JL TR 2-ways) off of your head unit, you can spend some money extra money on a nice 2-channel amp for the fronts...I'd say a PG Ti 400.2...you can get one on sale from sounddomain.com for just over 300$, and it'll drop you 100x2 RMS. And...it'll come fully warranteed at that price.

Also...did you hear a difference between the XR 5x7s and the 6.5s? For me there is an audible difference...I would personally choose the 6.5s to go in up front. Yes they will fit, you just need an adapter plate.

I'd avoid the new JBLs like the plague, Rider...the SNs are down in the low to mid 80s now. On your model they're rated to over 100dB. Basically, it doesn't seem like the new JBLs are very clean or quiet, signal wise.

I agree. I was looking to "upgrade" and I was very disappointed. I found a older JBL P80.4 and am very happy with it, made back when the SNs were very good. Running that and a JBL P300.1, sounds very good, very happy! (rockon)

im a happy owner of a PPI 600.4 ... it's powering the excelons though i'm not sure how it would sound with the JLs.

I have the Kenwood co-axes in the front doors, they sound really good, but sometimes it seems the highs are lacking. I think I may just have to bite the bullet and look for some good components to put up front... (boom01)

I'm still happy with my (bluep5)
