Ok well Ill try to keep it short and sweet! My girl friend over heated her 2004 mazda 3 2.3L and popped the head gasket. I brought the motor to TDC and pulled it apart. At this time i was unaware of the alignment tools. I marked the chain with a paint marker in multiple spots and pulled it apart. So i get the motor back together and try to turn it over and it is binding up which seems like its doing it on cylinder 1. I have spoken to multiple people and can not get a straight answer to what to do at this point.
I need some help from you guys/girls, should i just get the alignment tools and start over or is it a lost cause?? and if an alignment tool will do the trick any one have one for sale???
Thanks ahead of time!!!
