NACA Ramscoop

Anyone know where one could buy an NACA ramscoop?

I was considering the DGM carbon bonnet which has one intergrated, but on closer inspection of the pictures, it looks like a seperate plastic piece, thats been moulded into the carbon fibre bonnet.

So i'm thinking i can save myself a bit of cash by buying a plain CF bonnet, and having a local fibreglasser fix it in for me.

Thing is, i've looked everywhere and can't find anyone who makes one!

any ideas?

i've found a couple on various airplane parts supply websites when i was looking for one. sometimes you can find them on ebay also. i never found one that i actually liked enough to buy, except for 2 or 3, which were 150+, so i ditched the naca scoop idea. i'll see if i cant find a couple links for you here in a bit...

Buy from hrpworld, Irv Hoerr is a friend of mine, although he is a bit expensive, so they're real cheap on eBay and at Pegasus Racing, Racer Parts Wholesale, and at Stock Car Products.

Ok i'm going to go for a McKinney racing carbon fibre 4in NACA scoop
then find a cheapy CF bonnet to have it moulded into

i reckon thats the plan!

seems to be *close enough* to right to do the job
