I think you might be the only one.

There was a cute Filipina girl who posted on her quite often... I wonder what happened to her. (uhm)

But I stray ...

(Thank god my GF doesn't read these forums) (laugh)

It has been proven that cars equipped with knock-sensors show a minimal gain(2-3whp on a stock V8 mustang) when 91-93 octance gas is used.

Of course this is true, but ONLY if the car is pinging and the timing is being retarded because of it. There is no reason a stock Protege, or even one with a CAI and exhaust, would be pinging. If you have a turbo or are running high compression pistons, then yes it makes sense.

hmmm... how about this instead?

Akhilleus - Try driving in a boxster or a 911 and you'll never go back! I myself have been wrecked for life.

JunkPunch - A higher octane fuel burns more completely as well. There are many factors that attribute to a gain using premium gas. Basically, the expense of 91 octance gas outweighs the pros!

Tonkabui - Just where are you finding these pictures?

oh, have no fear... me and steph will be doing a shoot soon. hopefully. so i'll have pics of her, too. all my own... in all her beauty, shot right. none of this point and shoot crap... she's hot in p&s shots, imagine her in a properly executed shot! whoa mama is all i'm thinking.

:( i don't have steph... she's as free as a bird. whoever wins her over is the lucky one. i'm just fortunate to have been allowed to take pics of her.

this should clear things up

Boxster 90's: 7.4 sec tiptronic 0-60 :201hp....not as far off as was originally thought...maybe a pro 5 can be at least be equal in its first two gears...but obviously it could have taken me in 3rd if that car wasnt there... and thus achieve its 7.4 sec 0-60..and thats with perfect shifting which can be hard ...same curb weight too...yeah p5

been skimming thru this post entertaining to say the least, dillusions can be dangerous, just so you understand an old 356 would blow your doors off a 912 you never see him coming and a boxster well if you ever get a chance to drive one you will understand dont get out of hand cause some porsche owners might get involved in this forum and disscuss form versus function p5 an awesome car for the money but if you offered me a speedster or a p5 that is a no brainer ,did i tell you about the ferrarri testarossa that i beat to a parking space the other day, well it was like this..........

yeah... 7.4 seconds with the auto... so how is there perfect shifting involved? the computer does it already! there's no human error. so it's actually not hard at all to get 7.4 seconds. in fact, you're gonna get 7.4 seconds consistently. now for the 6.7 second time, maybe that requires more driver skill. dude, you're sticking your own foot further and further up your ass. just let this thread die already. you're full of s*** and you got called on it. just accept it.
