Does anyone use this to extend their 'internet-self'? I created an account because a couple of friends use it and some bands that i'm into. But I can't believe how many oversexed, egomaniacs are on there. Its like an online popularity contest...pretty funny. What happened to quality, not quantity. Can you really have 3,453 'friends'. I think this onslaught of online social 'networking' is getting a little extreme. What happened to going out and doing something good or meaningful? As opposed to posting a bunch of half-naked pics to see how many complete stangers you can get to sign up as your 'friend'.

Oh well, it has some cool features...it just seems like its over-shadowed by the whole "hot or not", online wannabe booty call crap.

HAHAH OMG. you think myspace is bad ? go to findapix.com or facethejudge.com or hotornot.com.

i don't wanna join myspace, but damn, if MOCC is on there, i might as well be too. maybe i'll join later..

s***, now i'm in a real bind. i'm gonna feel like such a sell out if i join myspace because 1) for some reason i felt it was stupid and 2) i deleted my girlfriend's because i felt like a mofoking prick and really didn't trust her with all these guys being real friendly.

but damn, do i love my car, and MOCC, and all my friends (lurk) (pow)

Its funny, because its not really regulated in the fact that a user's identification can't really be known. So if you search in myspace theres accounts for celebrities like Jack Osbourne, Paris Hilton, etc...and they have like 5billion friends..who knows if its really them or not. I do like how bands can promote on it and upload songs and stuff...
