Exactly I would buy a better diff and have them install it.CustomMSP said:They'll put the same crap in there again. I'll def. try to get them to do the labor though. I had my eye on that spec clutch for a long time![]()
CustomMSP said:Ok...update
The lsd is back together along with the tranny and clutch. Spec clutch is very smooth and the pedal is very precise, not as heavy as the stock clutch. However, one problem...the car is shacking back and forth like a wild horse anywhere from 2-4k rpm. It looks like the CV shaft on the drivers' side is bent about 1/8th" Not really sure how this happend. Hopefully no more problems will arise after we replace the damn CV shaft.
Ideas?
CustomMSP said:Yeah, but the weld has to be very even, so you get no vibration.
It works, not sure how well yetGeoronimo said:I have an undamaged transmission I may be tearing down.
I thought by "welding the diff" they meant actually welding it solid like the old Spider gear to spool mod. This may actually hold up to something!

CustomMSP said:Yeah I'll need some hands holding the steering wheel as I'll be mashing the throttle when I get the car back

Thanks
CustomMSP said:Yeah he does...hopefully it'll be done within the next day. I'm not sure what happend there, we weren't really pushing the car.
Thanks.
