I did a swap like that in an s13 though it ran high 11s with the stock vq even with the air box

VQ is awesome in a lightweight chassis. His next swap is going to be a LS1 V8 into either s13/s14 or into a BMW e36 3 series.

yea when you put around 12 hours a day on doing something you'll get alot done fast, and its pretty fun for me too.

it was under 900 dollars thats also with decking the head and block and painting the block also with brass freeze plugs

S13 and havent spent a third of that, you should still make good power though. (yes)

Very nice build, I will be eventually putting an GT-series in mine when my manifold cracks again(an AMS manifold is waiting in the wings). Did you get a prelude sock for the walbro pump? If not I would recommend it, the sock that typlically comes with the kit will not get all the way down into the S14 fuel tank.
